Local Headmaster Michael Polly (David Morrissey) becomes the prime suspect in his wife Sarah's disappearance when he encounters gutsy Detective Annie Cassidy (Eve Myles) in a compulsive game of cat and mouse.
I am very pleased and proud to say I was Police Advisor on this production.
I was involved from the start, reviewing the excellent scripts (written by George Kay) and offering advice on police procedure and plot points.
During pre-production I spent a lot of time working with costume, props and set designers to ensure that the world looked and felt right.
And during filming, I spent a number of days on set working alongside the fantastic director Richard Laxton and his directing crew, as they filmed various scenes involving police officers, search teams, and scenes of crime officers.
I even appeared in a scene (playing a uniformed police officer) - watch it and see if you can spot me!
Last week I attended the cast and crew showing of the 1st episode in Central London. It was a delight to see so many of the crew again and to chat to some of the brilliant cast. I have to say the show is very, very good - it really builds the tension and it’s beautifully filmed in and around Bristol.
Please do watch it and let me know what you think.
